I started basing the Biovores but decided instead of 1 per base that I would break out the warmaster bases and base them 3 up to get the “horde’ look.  I think after texturing the bases these will look pretty hot - even though using 3 oop models per base is a little of an overkill; especially since I don’t have the outstanding models. I need 8 more to complete the unit and that will be the complete set of the whole army.

Also I started working on the designs for the other custom bases I will use in the army. I was so happy with the Shapeways prints if my hexagon bases that I’ve decided to go all out for the rest of the army.

By my figuring I need to make a 3-hole 40mmx12mm base for my Zoanthropes and Lictors and 20mm round bases for the hive tyrants and carnifexes. I’ve already requisitioned 40mmx20mm warmaster bases as you can see in the picture above and all that is outstanding is bases for the titans (maybe just use the traditional 60mm round) and I’m thinking a 45mmx25mm for the tank-like models (Dactylis, Hauruspex, Exocrine and Malefactors).
