Walk on Hyperion City - Part 1

This Saturday Kris and I played our February game of Epic. We had the idea to play a pseudo-story driven scenario which culminated in a titan legion battle at Hyperion City.

Through a complex set of honor debts, oaths and alliances Legio Gryphonicus and Legio Ignatum met to back up their side in a trade dispute between Knight houses on Mars.

The scenario has 5 objectives; 1 “base” objective on each side worth 2 points and 3 “trade goods” objectives, each worth 1 point each, equality spaced down the middle of the board. We played 4000 points titans only for 4 turns and then counted objectives. The game was close all the way through ending with massive losses on both sides. In the end the game came down to formations rallying on either side.

It was a lot of fun and really showed the brutality of titan legion battles.

The pictures above are from the Fire Waps point of view - Look for Part 2 (probably tomorrow) and photos from the War Griffons point of view later this week.
